Sunshine International Corp. Opens a Brand New Distribution Center
02-16-2004 |
Sunshine International Corp., a construction material importer and distributor headquartered in Memphis, has invested in a 66,000 square feet property and built a brand-new distribution center in Whitten Business Center in Memphis, TN. The company plans on its official operation on April 1, 2004.
Along with the opening of the distribution center is the introduction of new products to the company. The company instituted casters, granite, marble, and industrial and construction tools besides the previous main product of scaffolds. The new distribution center and a full product line will expand the market potential in the Mid-South including Tennessee, Missouri, Mississippi, Alabama, Arkansas, Kentucky, and etc.
The company's CEO, Mr. Wei Chen, is confident that the new facility, an "invaluable asset" to the company's national distribution network, will meet the growing local demand for construction materials and serve local business and customers better. He also believes that the geographic location of Memphis, known as"America's Distribution Center," with the world's largest air cargo port, the third largest rail center and fourth largest inland port in U.S., favors the nationwide distribution process.
"A 66,000 square feet facility in Memphis, TN, has significantly expanded our national distribution network. This is the company's fourth distribution center across the U.S., in addition to New York, Los Angeles, and Houston. We are excited to serve customers in the Mid-South with faster delivery time and cheaper freight cost." said Chen.
Sunshine International Corp., with the mission of supplying quality industrial and construction products at best prices and achieving 100% customer satisfaction, has just launched an e-commerce web site to facilitate online ordering process. The grand opening of the new Memphis distribution center will once again boost the company's competing capacity in the U.S. construction material market.
